Pregnant Women Diabetes Impact Factor
Diabetes can cause problems for women and their growing babies during pregnancy. Bad
diabetes management during pregnancy raises the risk of developing birth defects and other
health problems. This may also lead the woman to suffer severe complications. Proper
health care can help prevent birth defects and other
health issues before and during pregnancy. There are 2 main
diabetes types. Type 1
diabetes is an autoimmune disease that takes insulin daily. Type 1 signs can include increased urination and thirst, constant appetite, weight loss, blurry vision, and intense fatigue. This form of diabetes, frequently diagnosed in infancy and young adults, accounts for around 5 to 10 percent of the cases diagnosed in the United States.
