Phenytoin Therapy

 Phenytoin is an anti-epileptic medication also called an anticonvulsant. Phenytoin works by decelerating down compulsions in the brain that cause seizures. Phenytoin is used to regulate seizures. This drug does not treat all the types of seizures. This drug should not be taken by the persons who are allergic to ethotoin or mephenytoin. Unless the doctor prescribes this medicine should not be taken by pregnant. The drug phenytoin is known to cause injury to an unborn baby and the individuals who is having a seizure during pregnancy. Seizure regulation is very significant during pregnancy and the profits of averting seizures may offset any risks postured by using phenytoin.
