Open Access Publishing Radiology Journals

Open access journals on radiology have increased access to scientific knowledge of the field by giving access to related medical articles. Many journals have adopted the open access policy and it is not known exact how many journals on radiology have open access. Open access journals give researcher free access to read and acquire knowledge on the latest developments on research and reviews related to techniques and technologies on medical imaging and radiology. It also serves as a platform to researchers to exhibit and disseminate their finding on research that they have conducted thus allowing other fellow practitioners and clinicians to be updated on the research and new developments on a particular topic. Many of these journals are also peer reviewed and hence the articles published in such journals are of high quality and accuracy. The peer review process involves the acceptance by noted clinicians and medical personnel during the review process before any article is published. Such journals have articles on the latest research in radiology and medical imaging like Artificial intelligence in radiology, biomedical imaging devices, Cardiovascular radiology, clinical use of magnetic resonance imaging, CT imaging and many other new imaging and interpretation techniques.
