LDue to the development and manufacture of nanostructures,
nanodrug delivery has been designed to overcome those challenges.Nanostructures have been reported to have the ability to protect
drugs from gastrointestinal tract degradation and the technology also allows targeted
drug delivery to various areas of the body. The technology enables the delivery of
drugs that are poorly water-soluble and can provide ways to bypass the liver, thereby preventing metabolism from the first pass.
Nanotechnology increases the oral bioavailability of
drugs due to their specialized take-up mechanisms such as absorptive endocytosis and is able to remain in the bloodstream for longer periods of time, releasing the incorporated drug. Peer review applies to the research done when reviewing published papers and grant proposals. This method enables scholars to follow agreed expectations in their field and eliminates the circulation in questionable results, unwarranted statements, incorrect views and personal beliefs. Publications that have not been peer-reviewed by professional scholars and specialists would certainly be treated with cynicism.
