            Biomaterials are international journals relating to the science and clinical application of biomaterials. Biomaterials are now defined as substances which take their own form or as part of complex systems to control the course of therapeutic or diagnostic processes by controlling interactions with components of living systems. Providing forums that are verified by experts for the publication of original reports and relevant reviews and opinions that discuss key issues related to the use of biomaterials in clinical practice. The scope of the journal covers the various physical, biological and chemical sciences that underlie biomaterial design and the clinical disciplines in which they are used. These sciences include polymer synthesis and characterization, vector and drug vector design, host response biology, immunology and toxicology, and Nano scale self-organization. Clinical applications include therapies in medical technology and regenerative medicine in all clinical disciplines and diagnostic systems that are compatible with innovative contrast and sensory agents. The magazine is relevant to fields such as cancer diagnosis and therapy, implantable devices, drug delivery systems, gene vectors, bio nanotechnology and tissue engineering.
