Inflammatory Disease Peer Review Journals

Inflammation is portion of the body's resistance mechanism and shows a role in the healing procedure. When the body detects an intruder, it launches a biological response to try to eliminate it. The attacker can be a foreign object, such as a thorn, an irritant or a pathogen. Pathogens include bacteria, viruses, and other organisms that cause infections. Occasionally the body incorrectly perceives its own cells or tissues as damaging. This response can lead to autoimmune sicknesses, such as type 1 diabetes. Experts believe that inflammation can contribute to a wide range of chronic diseases. Metabolic syndrome, which includes type 2 diabetes, heart disease and obesity, are examples. Society with these circumstances often have advanced levels of inflammatory indicators in their bodies.
