Food Security Open Access Journals

A condition related to the food's continued availability is called Food Security. Or the state of adequate access to sufficiently affordable, nutritious food. Food protection also ensures that the people who produce our food will earn a fair, living wage to grow, capture, harvest, process, bring, retail and serve food. Indicators and measures of food security are derived from household income and expenditure surveys at country level to estimate the caloric availability per capita. The availability of food relates to the provision of food by production, distribution and trade. A variety of factors determine food production, including land ownership and use; soil management; crop selection, breeding and management; livestock breeding and strategic planning; and harvesting.
