 Epidemiology is the medical science branch that investigates all of the factors determining the presence or absence of diseases and disorders. That deals with the study of causes, distribution and disease control in populations. Much of the data collected by epidemiologists comes from self-reporting from responses provided by study participants. Scholarly journal is a peer-reviewed journal which publishes scholarships related to a particular academic discipline. Scholarly publications serve as platforms for proposing and discussing new work and denouncing current studies to be scrutinised. Typically, content takes the form of articles that present original research, review articles and book reviews. The term Scholarly Journal refers to all areas of academic publications; this article addresses topics specific to all research journals in academia.
