Dysfunctions And Management Guidelines

Erectile dysfunction (ED), also called impotence, may be a form of sexual dysfunction characterized by the lack to develop or maintain an erection of the penis during sexuality. ED can have psychological consequences because it are often tied to relationship difficulties and self-image. A physical cause is identified in about 80% of cases. These include disorder, DM, neurological problems like following prostatectomy, hypogonadism, and drug side effects. Psychological impotence is where erection or penetration fails because of thoughts or feelings; this can be somewhat less frequent, on the order of about 10% of cases.
