Civil-Military Operations Open Access Articles

 Civil-military operations or CMO area unit activities of a military group to reduce civil interference on and maximize civil support for military operations. CMO is conducted in conjunction with combat operations throughout period and becomes a central a part of a campaign in counter-insurgencies. Some militaries have specialised units dedicated to conduct CMO, like civil affairs forces or kind task forces specifically for this functions, like a joint civil-military operations task force within the U.S. Military. Also, some militaries have workers sections dedicated to designing and coordinating CMO for his or her command. CMO is usually known as civil-military co-operation or CIMIC in international organization operations and civil-military co-ordination in United Nations operations.
