Carcinogenesis Review Journals
Carcinogenesis is the sluggish and continuous process leading to cancerous cells. These
cells are a normally benign
tumor that becomes malignant after having acquired certain properties, and thus starts to spread. The characteristics of malignant
tumors and benign ones are entirely different. These
cells shoe
tumor heterogeneity with multiple subclones, characterized by
genome instability. These have varying levels of DNA repair enzymes. Exposure to various types of carcinogens is the main reason for developing cancer. There are different pathways influencing each other and contributing to carcinogenesis. There has been extensive research in this field and a large number of papers have been published on the same topic.
