 Biopsy is done through a needle, whichever the type of needle biopsy, inorder to examine the tissue the needle is passed several times into the tissue.Mostly doctors are used the needle to remove the samples of tissue, these needle biopsies are often done usina a MRI, mammogram, ultrasound or CT scan.The doctors uses the imaging tools to examine the right area for biopsy. An open biopsy is a surgery which used with  local or general anesthesia so that the patients can remain  relaxed (sedated) or asleep and pain-free during the procedure. It is done in a hospital operating room. The surgeon makes a cut into the affected area, and the tissue is removed through biopsy. A laparoscopic biopsy used for very smaller surgical cuts than the open biopsy.
