Biochemical Medicine Journals

The impact of biological research on health care has long been recognized by the medical and pharmaceutical industries. The rapidly expanding fields of cellular and molecular biology continue to generate possibilities for new pharmaceutical products and medical practices that will have major impacts on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of human disease. Where such applications have been made in animal agriculture, they have generally resulted from the transfer of biomedical breakthroughs made originally in biomedical research. Currently, however, the biological knowledge is being exploited with increasing effectiveness in the development of new plant and animal agricultural products. It is the process of utilization of the tools and concepts of chemistry to living systems. It includes the study of morphology, physical properties, mechanisms, chemical regulation, energy utilization and molecular basis of biologiacal molecules. A journal is a periodical publication intended to further progress of science, usually by reporting new research. Most journals are highly specialized, although some of the oldest journals publish articles, reviews, editorials, short communications, letters, and scientific papers across a wide range of scientific fields. Journals contain articles that peer reviewed, in an attempt to ensure that articles meet the journal's standards of quality, and scientific validity. Each such journal article becomes part of the permanent scientific record.
