Autoimmune Uveitis Review Articles

 The uvea which is the middle layer of the eye is swollen and causing uveitis. This is the uvea that provides much of the blood supply to the retina. Chronic eye disease is referred to as uveitis or chronic uveitis. Immune cells enter the eye, become active and have their effects exerted. The typical eye at any given time has no noticeable inflammation. Review papers are summaries of the current state of knowledge on a specific topic of study. Instead of reporting novel research results, they analyze or discuss research previously published by scientists and academics. Review article falls in the form of systematic reviews and reviews of literature, and is a part of a secondary Literature. Systematic reviews determine an objective list of criteria, and find all original research papers previously published that meet the criteria. They then compare the results of those papers. In comparison, literature reviews provide a rundown of what the reviewers consider to be the best and most important prior publications.
