 A leak of luminal contents from a surgical joint is defined as Anastomotic leaks. They are the most significant difficulty to recognize succeeding gastrointestinal surgery. Initial analysis, revival and treatment of an anastomotic leak is important. Postponement leads to protracted contamination of the abdomen or chest by the luminal contents leading to the growth of severe sepsis and development to multi tissue, organ failure and death.
