Adenocarcinoma Peer-review Journals
In recent years, epigenetics has become a very important process in controlling multiple pathologies including cancer. In numerous studies DNA
methylation has been identified as crucial for control of differentiation , cell proliferation and
cancer invasion. Pancreatic
ductal adenocarcinoma is one of our society's most deadly diseases; its complexity and variability has become one of the medical challenges of this decade. The combination of the potential of epigenetics with high mortality and limited knowledge of the origin of pancreatic
ductal adenocarcinoma can lead to new diagnostic, treatment and monitoring approaches that are crucial in this pathology. For the first time , the high degree of
methylation of these adenocarcinomas has been postulated, and the statistical relationship between Src pathway
methylation and clinicopathological profile.
