Here, we record the case of a 63-year-vintage female stricken by abnormal, excessive, and involuntary reactions to innocent and surprising sensory stimuli, well-matched with the prognosis of hyperekeplexia. It is a pathology that includes the glycinergic gadget on a hereditary basis, or even if genetic evidence well matched with the prognosis isn't always found in this case, the reality that an aunt on her father`s facet suffered from the equal problems helps the medical suspicion. From an early age, medical records indicate anomalous motor manifestations, to start with framed as a shape of focal epilepsy or everyday problems of the temper sphere, later excluded via way of means of the shortage of effectiveness of a focused therapy.
