Translational Medicine Review Journals

Translational medicine, also called translational life science , preclinical research, evidence-based research, or disease-targeted research, area of research that aims to enhance human health and longevity by determining the relevance to human disease of novel discoveries within the biological sciences. Translational Medicine Communications is an interdisciplinary forum for all scientifically valid research from across translational medicine. The journal aims to enhance transparency and reproducibility within translational medicine and considers research papers no matter outcome or significance of findings. Often described because the practice of transferring knowledge domain “from bench to bedside“ (B2B), translational medicine builds on basic research advances – studies of biological processes using cell cultures, for instance , or animal models – and uses them to develop new therapies or medical procedures There are different views of the concept of translational medicine:Barry S. Coller from the Rockefeller University, NY defines translational medicine as: “The application of the methodology to deal with a health need.”He holds that, in contrast to basic research, which has the generation of latest knowledge as its primary goal, the first goal of translational science is improvement in human health. Translational medicine will encourage the flow of data from the laboratory to the clinic, and within the same way, it should be encouraged from the clinic back to the laboratory.
