Sports Biomechanics Open Access Articles

Sport biomechanics is that the study that's concerned with optimizing sports technique. Biomechanical analysis compares and contrasts an athlete's present technique. It studies the structure and performance of biological systems. The motto of sport biomechanics is to gauge motion of human in sports training, ergonomics and style of equipment. It’s a discipline that applies the laws of mechanics to review body movements and their cause. It also helps in gaining a greater understanding of performance in athletic events through modeling and measurement. Biomechanics emerged from education as a specialized are of study. Kinesiology and biomechanics are intricately related. Principles of those two fields are often applied to the fields of biology, physiology, engineering, physical and physical therapy, and medicine also. Biomechanics offer knowledge domain which will improve performance, to enhance sport techniques, equipment, and safety, to style and conduct programs to reinforce individual movement skills. Journal of Athletic Enhancement focuses on the topics include sporting events, aspects of enhancement process, use of performance-enhancing substances, psychological and physical health of the athlete, rehabilitate injuries associated with sport or recreational activity, athletic physiology and nutrition of athletes.
