Scholarly Peer-review Functional Food Journal

 A functional food is a food which has an added purpose by incorporating new or more existing ingredients. Functional Food is a natural or processed food containing known biologically active compounds which, when described in quantitative and qualitative quantities, provide a scientifically validated and reported health benefit and, therefore, an important source for the prevention, management and treatment of modern-day chronic diseases. Science peer review is the method of subjecting an author's academic work, research or theories to examination by those who are experts in the same area a paper detailing this work is published in the journal. Job can be approved, deemed suitable with modifications or removed. Peer review requires a community of experts who are qualified and able to carry out reasonably impartial review in a given (narrowly defined) field. Peer evaluation refers to the research undertaken during the screening of proposed papers and proposals for funding. This method allows writers to meet their discipline's agreed expectations and eliminates the circulation of questionable observations, unwarranted statements, incorrect interpretations and personal opinions. Publications that have not undergone peer review by academic scholars and professionals are likely to be viewed with suspicion.
