Risk Factors Among Fishermen

Fishing is an especially hazardous profession with a high risk of global occupational and endemic diseases. Greece is associated with the maritime environment due to its unique morphology and location in the South-Eastern Mediterranean at a distance of 16,000 km. Health risk factor: re-guarding physical activity, 66% of fishermen did not exercise any kind of outside work, 32% chose fat-cooked food, 51% added extra oil to their salad, and 15% drank more than one bottle of wine a day. Current smoking accounted for 40% of the sample and 41% were former smokers, while 16.91% considered smoking to be very harmful to health. Smok-ing at work for concerns.
