Reputed Hydrogeology Journals

Hydrogeology is groundwater analysis-it is also referred to as geohydrology or hydrology of groundwater. It maps and quantifies the water contained in underground aquifers and often surface structures, determines flow and recharge routes, and examines the chemical composition and consistency of underground water. Hydrogeology deals with how water gets into the ground (recharge), how it flows into the sub - surface (through aquifers), and how groundwater comes into contact with the encircling soil and rock (the geology). Hydrogeology also involves analyzing changes in water chemistry along a subsurface flow path, and investigating the transportation and destiny of contaminants entering the subsurface environment. Such pollutants may exist either as dissolved solutes or as a separate phase of liquid, such as gasoline. The journal would provide a platform for and motivate scholars, students, technologists and specialists to share their professional and academic expertise in Hydrogeology.
