Proteomic Methods

 Proteomics is the big scale study of the function and structure of proteins in complex biological sample. Such detain has the inherent value to understand the complex nature of the organism. Modern proteomic tools allow high-throughput, large-scale analyses for the identification, detection, and functional examination of proteome. Advances in protein labeling and fractionation techniques have increased protein identification to include the least generous proteins. In addition, proteomics has been complemented by the analysis of posttranslational techniques and modifications for the quantitative comparison of various proteomes. Although, the vital restraint of proteomic investigations remains the convolution of biological physiological and structures processes, providing the path of investigation paved with different difficulties and pitfalls. The quantity of data that is obtained with new techniques places new challenges on analysis and data processing. The article furnishes a detailed synopsis of trends available in proteomic techniques, followed by detailed description of technical challenges, advantages and their applications.
