open access journal that focuses on all aspects of infectious and sexually transmitted diseases in humans, including research, prevention, immunization, diagnosis, management, and treatment. Relevant pathophysiology,
genetics and
epidemiology are also included. diseases are mostly caused by viruses, bacteria, fungi and Protozoan parasites. Many of the infectious diseases are contagious and transmissible.They are epidemic and life threatening if untreated. Proper diagnosis and treatment should be adopted for prevention and transmission of infections. Currently research is going on new medications and new target proteins for effective treatment.
