Neonatal jaundice is generally found in newborns and requires medical care. For newborns, the signs are pale skin and sclera colouration. These occur because unconjugated bilirubin accumulates. It is a common cycle of accumulation of unconjugated bilirubin in infants however in certain instances the bilirubin rates rise and are neurotoxic to infants leading to death. So newborns should be diagnosed regularly. Peer review refers to the work done during the
screening of presented manuscripts and applications for funding. It is possible that
neonatal jaundice was first described in a Chinese textbook 1000 years ago. Medical theses, essays and textbooks from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries contain discussion on the causes and treatment of
neonatal jaundice Child jaundice is a common condition, especially in babies born before 38 weeks of gestation (preterm babies) and some breast-fed infants. Infant jaundice usually happens when a baby's liver isn't healthy enough to get rid of bilirubin in the bloodstream. In some babies an underlying disease can cause infant jaundice. This process encourages authors to satisfy their discipline's accepted standards and reduces the dissemination of irrelevant findings, unwarranted claims, unacceptable interpretations and personal views. Publications that have not received peer examination by qualified researchers and experts are likely to be regarded with skepticism.
