Mild Autism Spectrum Disorders

 Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or Autism is an umbrella term for a group of the developmental disorders that are neurological in the origin and cause social, communication and attitude changes. It is one of the most common developmental disorders. It is mainly characterized by impaired social interaction and communication to the presence of the repetitive attitude or avoided to interests. Children with ASD may also have their sensory sensitivity affected where they may be low or more sensitive to certain senses for example loud noise. ASD cannot be identifying through medical test. The child will be evaluated through their range of skill development, communication, social, motor and cognitive development. In some cases, the child may shows signs of autism in early. ASD is usually marked by a period of the apparent normal development upto the age of 2 to 2.5 years followed by a loss of acquired skills in certain areas. This is referred to as ‘autistic regression’.
