 The International Telecommunication Union (ITU; French: Union Internationale des Télécommunications or UIT), originally the International Telegraph Union (French: Union Télégraphique Internationale), may be a specialised agency of the world organization that's liable for problems that concern info and communication technologies.[1] it's the oldest world international organisation. In 1992, the CCIR became the ITU-R. Standardization (ITU-T) Standardization was the first purpose of ITU since its beginning. Established in 1956 because the International phonephone and Telegraph informatory Committee or CCITT (from its French name Comité consultatif international téléphonique et télégraphique), this Sector standardizes world telecommunications (except for radio).[11] In 1993, the CCITT became the ITU-T. Development (ITU-D) Established in 1992, this Sector helps unfold equitable , property and reasonable access to info and communication technologies (ICT).
