Rapid advances in the development of fast computing systems and computational techniques are expected to yield enormous successes in the fields of aquatic ecology,
environmental engineering and/or water technology. Developing utility tools to create visualization of several ecological /
environmental / hydraulic processes has become comparatively easy with the advancement of software technology. This visualisation also creates major impressions for end-users and/or viewers through inspirational color schemes. People tend to forget the accuracies of these visualization clips / videos, often unproven along with sufficiently acceptable scientific protocol / measurements supporting accuracy. In many cases, overwhelming proof of attractive visualization replaces the need for proper accuracy testing / presentation. This article presents accuracy achievements in the fields of ecological , environmental, and hydraulic simulations as compared to IT (IT) and
software engineering (SE) developments.
