Impact Factor Drug Safety
Drug safety science, which incorporates the
evolution of tools, techniques, and data sources that help Centre for Drug Evaluation and Research(CDER) to better classify and manage safety issues related to drug reactions and product quality, is an integral component of CDER’s regulatory science portfolio. As profound new insights into disease processes at cellular and molecular levels operate in the technologically advanced environments of distributed digital networks, data mining, custom-built software platforms, and mobile device applications, drug safety science is taking on ever more powerful ability to predict, detect, and prohibit drug-related adverse events.Emerging machineries are playing a serious role within the origination of latest approaches to assess the security of both foods and medicines . However, the mixing of emerging machineries within the regulatory
decision-making process requires rigorous judgment and consensus amongst international participants and research communities. A key component of the FDA mission is to protect the public
health by assuring the safety of human pharmaceutical products. Supporting this objective, FDA is also responsible for advancing public
health by facilitating the scientific innovations that can help make medicines safer while assuring that the public receives clear, accurate, science-based drug safety messages.
