Human-Robot Interactions (HRI)
The field of studying the understanding ,design and result of robotic interaction with humans is called Human-Robot interactions(HRI).There are several forms of interaction and communication between robots and humans but it generally depends on the proximity of the robot and human. Hence the subject of human robot interaction is divided into communication and interaction. If the human and robot are separated spatially then we can call it as remote interaction, example the Mars rovroorers. If the robot and human are in proximity or co located we term it as proximate interaction, for example service robots. With these categorization the requirement of social interaction, mobility and physical manipulation may or may not be required.
