Hip Replacement Surgery
Hip replacement surgery may be a process during which a doctor surgically defeats a painful hip with
arthritis and rehabilitates it with a man-made joint frequently made up of metal and plastic components. It occasionally is done when all other therapy options have failed to provide satisfactory pain relief. The practice should alleviate a painful hip joint, making walking easier.Hip replacement surgery can be executed traditionally or by using a minimally-invasive technique. The main difference between the two procedures is the size of the incision. During standard hip replacement surgery, we are given general
anaesthesia to recline our muscles as we fall into a temporary deep sleep. This will inhibit us from feeling any pain during the
surgery or have any awareness of the process. A spinal anaesthetic may be given to help prohibit pain as an alternative.
