			         Cosmology is often a difficult discipline to urge a handle on, because it may be a field of study within 
physics that touches on many other areas. 
Cosmology is the discipline of science that studies the origin and eventual fate of the universe. It is most closely related to the specific fields of astronomy and astrophysics, though the last century has also brought 
cosmology closely in line with key insights from particle physics. 
Cosmology shows features of descriptive astronomy, explicatory astrophysics, palaeontology, history, mathematics, physics, and physics. As long because it is handled as cosmophysics, i.e., as an extension of 
physics from the galactic through the extragalactic realm to ever larger massive gravitating structures, it's part proper of physics. Physical 
cosmology was shaped through both mathematics and observation in an analysis of the entire universe. The universe is usually understood to possess begun with the large Bang, followed almost instantaneously by cosmic inflation; an expansion of space from which the universe is assumed to have emerged 13.799 ± 0.021 billion years ago. Cosmogony studies the origin of the Universe, and cosmography maps the features of the Universe. 
Cosmology is broken down into uranology ( heavens), aerology (air), 
geology (continents), and
