Blood Donors Top Open Access Journals
Blood donation happens when an individual willingly draws blood and uses that for transfusions by a process called fractionation which separates the whole blood components. Blood banks often participate in the collection process and procedures for collecting and storing the blood for the needy ones. In this current world, most of the
blood donors are unpaid volunteers who donate blood for a community supply. Established supplies are limited in some countries as the people are ready to give blood only to their friends and family members. Potential donors are evaluated before using blood for its transfusion to others. The blood donor must also respond to the questions about medical and
health history and must take a short body checkup to make sure the donation is not hazardous to his or her health.
