Biostatistics - Open Access Articles

 Biostatistics is the statistics division responsible for properly analyzing scientific data produced in the fields of biology, public health and other health sciences (i.e. biomedicine). There are considerable variations in the subjects (patients, mice, cells, etc.) in these sciences in their response to stimuli. This variation may be due to different treatments or may be due to chance, measurement error or other individual subject characteristics. Open access to the scientific literature means eliminating obstacles to accessing academic research (including price obstacles). This variation may be due to different treatments, or due to chance, measurement error or other characteristics of individual subjects. Open access to scientific literature means eliminating barriers (including price obstacles) to accessing academic research.
