Articles On Coagulation Disorders
Coagulation disorders explain the ability to control blood clotting by bodyâs disruption. Vitamin K deficiency, disseminated intravascular coagulation, development of circulating anticoagulants, liver disease are the major causes of coagulation disorders. Increased risk of bleeding (hemorrhage) or obstructive clotting (thrombosis) are the results of coagulation disorders. The most common hereditary coagulation factor is hemophilia. Immediately after injury to the blood vessel which damaged the lining of the vessel, coagulation begins instantly. A clotting factor such as plasma protein fibrinogen initiates after the exposure of blood to proteins. Platelets immediately form a plug at the site of injury; this is called primary hemostasis. Secondary
hemostasis occurs simultaneously: Proteins in the blood plasma, called coagulation factors or clotting factors, respond in a complex cascade to form fibrin strands, which strengthen the platelet plug. The most common hereditary bleeding disorder is von Willebrand’s disease Journal of
blood disorders & Transfusion encourages the researchers, academicians to experience a wide variety of
articles on Coagulation disorders. Perusing through the articles, Hematologists and all other experts working in the field of
hematology can get to persistent upgrades that may help them to enhance the nature of consideration and the result for patients.
