Chilose fistula after renal transplantation in children: Report of the first two cases in Paraguay treated by Iodopivodone instillation
Flores J, Paraguay

Abstract
Postoperative lymphatic fistula is a rare complication in surgeries of the inguinal and abdominal region and is attributed to inadvertent injuries in lymphatic vessels. For its management, conservative options are available, such as administration of somatostatin, low-medium-chain fatty acid diet and / or parenteral nutrition; and continuous vacuum aspiration. In this work we present the first two cases of chilose fistula after renal transplantation in children, which were successfully resolved by instillation of iodopovidone solution.
Key words: kidney transplantation, fistula, iodopovine.
