Geography Articles Open Access

Geography is that the study of the planet, its people and therefore the landscapes they create. It identifies the concepts of place, space, environment, interconnection, sustainability, scale and alter as integral to the event of geographical understanding. Geography is usually defined in terms of two branches: human geography and physiography. Physical geography is concerned with the study of processes and patterns within the natural environment just like the atmosphere, hydrosphere, biosphere, and geosphere. The difference between these approaches led to a 3rd field, environmental geography, which mixes physical and human geography and concerns the interactions between the environment and humans.
