Forensic Odontology Open Access Articles

 Forensic odontology is the application of dental science to forensic cases , mainly involving the identification of the perpetrator by matching dental records with a bite mark left on the victim or at the scene, or the identification of human remains based on dental records. Forensic dentistry is the research and practice of dental issues related to legal problems. Forensic odontologists are highly qualified, specially trained dentists, who use their skills to help a single person locate missing remains and trace bite marks. Police officers, the medical examiner or the coroner can call the forensic odontologist in to do so.
